MayWe’ve been banging this drum on previous posts, but a new book that charts the rise of independent publishing despite the apparent decline of the printed medium in a digital world. There is a bewildering array of beautifully produced, well researched and interesting publications on a huge list of topics and it seems that there is loads more to come – which is great news for print fans like us.
What all these great magazines share is a unique approach to content and art direction with a strong focus on their audience. They celebrate all that’s great about paper and ink by producing a magazine that is more collectable than disposable. It’s a confident approach that we can all learn from when we are thinking about where print fits in the marketing mix.
