This unique, tranquil and spellbinding tunnel of ancient beech trees has become one of the most photographed locations in Northern Ireland and is now a must-see tourist attraction for visitors from all over the world. Planted along the entrance to a Georgian estate, the trees have become heavily entwined with each other to create the iconic tunnel that has recently featured as the Kings Road in the famous HBO series, Game of Thrones.
The Dark Hedges Preservation Trust was set up in 2009 and recently commissioned a local graphic designer (designbydarol.com) to develop a brochure. Impact produced the 12page concertina folded brochure on a 150gsm offset stock to answer Darol’s brief for a contemporary production that would complement the design. We are delighted with the finished job and love the idea that this brochure is a treasured souvenir of the North Coast that will have a global audience.
